Foot soaks are a popular type home remedies that fight foot odor.

Foot soaks commonly have three types of action:
Astringent
Antibacterial

1. Vodka Soak /Wipe
Maybe it sounds funny, but soaking your feet in vodka may work even better.
Wiping your feet with a washcloth soaked in vodka will kill bacteria and so will reduce foul odor.
Also you can put your feet in basin with water and vodka.
2. Potassium Permanganate Foot Bath
This method is one of the more powerful foot soaks. Potassium permanganate is a potent chemical which is famous for effectively killing fungi and bacteria.
Add a tablespoon of potassium permanganate to a quart of water.
Soak feet for about 30 minutes. Don’t be shocked if your toenails and calluses start turning brown.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar Soak
It is said that this liquid helps with losing weight, digestive problems, sinusitis and allergies.
This vinegar eliminates bacteria and dries excess sweat, which are the main causes of foot odor. Also, this remedy is very cheap.
It has antibacterial characteristics, mainly because of the phenolics and acetic acid. The acidity of the vinegar removes foul odor and reduces the sweat build up.
Add a half cup of apple cider vinegar into a quart of warm water and soak your feet for 20 minutes. Soak twice weekly or more often if needed.
4. Epsom Salt Foot Soaks
Epsom salt is rich in magnesium sulphate and works great as a foot soak for stinky feet. Epsom salt neutralizes foot odor, and also it makes skin softer, reduces inflammation and even soothes aching feet.
Add half a cup of Epsom salt in about 10 cups of warm water and soak your feet for 30 minutes. Do this two times daily for best results.
5. Baking Soda and Tea Tree Oil Soak
Baking soda kills bacteria and fungus, and also makes your feet softer.
Tea tree oil is famous around the world for its antimicrobial properties. It is proved that tea tree oil helps you eliminate bacteria, fungi, spores, and other unwanted critters.
This amazing essential oil has antiseptic, antibiotic and antifungal activity as well as anti-inflammatory effects.
Add 1 ½ tablespoons to a foot basin filled with warm water. Mix it till becomes dissolved. Soak your feet for about 15 minutes.
6. Black Tea Foot Soak
This soak is recommended by Dr. Oz. The tannins included in tea are plant polyphenols with astringent properties. Astringents temporarily block your feet pores and thus lower the amount of sweat.
After you boil water, add a few black tea bags in it. When it cools off, soak your feet for at least 20 minutes. Do this a few times weekly and you will notice the benefits.
7. Sage Soak
Sage contains oils and tannins that have astringent powers.
Sage leaves include antifungal and antibacterial properties, and also a pleasant smell in order to mask foot odors.
Prepare a tea mixture with sage leaves and soak your feet in it for 15 minutes.
8. Lemon Water Soak
Lemon is an astringent as well. Lemon will aid with excessive sweating. It should shrink pores where as the citric acid present in lemon kills bacteria. The fresh scent of lemon serves as a natural deodorant.
